Glossy crayfish snakes (Regina rigida) are found in swamps and wetlands throughout the Coastal Plain in the Southeast, ranging from Virginia to Texas, as well as parts of the Midwest. The images contained in this gallery are the glossy crayfish snake subspecies (R. r. rigida).
