Scarlet kingsnakes are a tri-color species, similar to coral snakes. Scarlet kingsnakes have black bands separating the red and yellow bands whereas in coral snakes the red and yellow bands are touching (if the caution colors (red and yellow) are touching, do NOT touch!).
